How to Set It Up
Getting started takes just a few minutes.
Click “Activate My AI Agent” on the GBP AI Agent page and log in to (or register) your Semrush account.
Connect your Google account and select the GBP location you want to automate.
View your business profile audit and automation plan, then proceed with purchasing a subscription.
Review your business profile information, add photos and relevant keywords, then click “Save and Continue.”
Once setup is complete, you’ll see your dashboard. Automation starts immediately. From the dashboard, you can:
- Monitor GBP performance metrics such as profile views, interactions, and average review rating
- Review recent AI Agent actions. The "Recent Actions" list shows the 100 most recent actions, including published posts, review replies, and photo uploads.
You can click on an action to open a window displaying the full details of the content.
Settings
You can adjust the settings by clicking the “Settings” button in the upper-right corner.
From there, you can:
- Enable or disable automations
- Change posting frequency
- Configure review auto-replies (choose to reply to new, negative, or all reviews)
- Select the tone of voice and language for replies
- Configure Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons on posts (e.g., Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more) and set CTA URLs
- Edit target keywords (used for post generation)
